Zehrid Osmani

Zehrid Osmani leads the Global Long-Term Unconstrained strategy team within Franklin Equity Group, and manages the range of strategies within the group, alongside the Franklin Global Trust.

Mr. Osmani joined Martin Currie in May 2018 after a decade at BlackRock, where he served as a senior portfolio manager and Head of European Equities Research. At BlackRock, he managed several pan-European equity funds, focusing on unconstrained, high-conviction, long-term portfolios, and established a leading research platform.

Prior to this, Mr. Osmani managed equity strategies at Scottish Widows Investment Partnership (SWIP) and worked as a specialist sector analyst at Commerzbank Securities, where he was ranked Top 10 Telecoms analysts, as well as at UBS Warburg as a Financials analyst, and at Credit Lyonnais. His investment career began as a trainee fund manager at Scottish Investment Trust, covering a range of sectors across equity markets.

Mr. Osmani holds a B.A. in Economics and Finance from University of Paris-La Sorbonne and a Master’s in International Finance from the University of Glasgow.
