Shirley Yu

Shirley Yu is the Chief Operating Officer for Franklin Templeton’s distribution business in APAC, based in Singapore. In her role she is responsible for developing business strategies in close partnership with APAC leaders and executing regional priority strategic business initiatives.

Ms. Yu joined Franklin Templeton in 2011 and has 26 years of experience in the asset management industry leading multi-channel product and client development initiatives across APAC markets.

Prior to joining Franklin Templeton Ms. Yu was Head of Product Development for Credit Suisse Asset Management, focused on business opportunities and client investment solutions. Ms. Yu began her asset management career at Fidelity Investments in Hong Kong, and has also been based in Beijing and Singapore during her professional career.

Ms. Yu graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Western Ontario, Canada.
