Kapil Chadha

Kapil Chadha leads private equity investment in Middle East, Africa, and India. Prior to joining Franklin Templeton in 2017, Mr. Chadha was a senior member of the investment team at NBK Capital Partners, responsible for managing private equity and mezzanine funds totaling USD 1 bn.

Prior to joining NBK Capital Partners, Mr. Chadha worked at Updata Capital, a boutique tech M&A advisory firm, and advised on a variety of M&A transactions involving publicly listed and private companies in the US. Mr. Chadha started his career as an equity analyst at Thomson, Siegel & Walmsley, a Virginia-based investment management firm with over USD 13 bn in AUM. He also co-founded August Capital Partners, an early stage, India-focused consumer opportunities fund.

Mr. Chadha holds a Master in Business Administration from Goizueta Business School at Emory University and a Bachelor of Science from McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia.
