Ismar Izhar

Ismar Izhar is a portfolio manager and research analyst for Templeton Global Investments with equity research responsibilities for companies in Malaysia.

Prior to joining Franklin Templeton in 2019 Mr Ismar was with AIIMAN Asset Management as a senior portfolio manager, equity specific in managing shariah discretionary mandates from government-linked and public sector institutions. He brings along more than 15 years of experience in fund management from both asset management and insurance/takaful industries combined.

Mr. Ismar holds an MBA and bachelor's degree of accountancy from the Mara University of Technology.
