Emily Cox is a member of the US Institutional relationship management team focused on Franklin Templeton's suite of Alternative Investment Solutions.
Emily has extensive expertise in alternative investments. Her focus areas include Private Credit, Private Equity, Hedge Funds, and Natural Resources. Prior to joining Franklin Templeton she led TFG Asset Management's business development efforts on the West Coast. In this role Ms. Cox was involved in the launch of Contingency Capital, a specialty credit manager.
Previously, she was a member of BlackRock's Endowment & Foundation business where she was responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with sophisticated institutional investors across the United States. She began her career working for a single family office covering illiquid alternative investments.
Ms. Cox earned a BA in Economics from Barnard College of Columbia University. She is a CFA & CAIA Charterholder and member of 100 Women in Finance and Women in Institutional Investments Network. She serves on the Alternative Investments Forum Global Women Investors' Steering Committee, and previously served on the National Board of Directors for Cents Ability and as an Ambassador for Girls Who Invest.
