Elizabeth Ciallella, Senior Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer, joined Franklin Templeton in 2006 and has over 20 years' experience in Compliance and Risk Management. Ms. Ciallella is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Fiduciary Trust Company International's (Fiduciary Trust) Compliance Department. She ensures that Fiduciary Trust and its subsidiaries adhere to all regulatory requirements and counsels and trains all levels of management and staff on compliance. Ms. Ciallella manages all regulatory examinations and is the liaison for all regulatory agencies for Fiduciary Trust and its subsidiaries. Ms. Ciallella manages the compliance staff of Fiduciary Trust in New York and India. Ms. Ciallella is also the Global Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Compliance Officer for Franklin Templeton responsible for implementing a testing program for AML and Sanctions Compliance. She chairs Franklin Templeton's Country Risk Committee; is a member of the Fiduciary Trust Management Committee, Franklin Templeton's North American AML Committee and International AML Committee; Enterprise Risk Management Committee and Privacy Committee.
Prior to joining Franklin Templeton, she was responsible for overseeing the compliance and risk programs globally for several large international investment companies including Bank of New York and Deutsche Bank.
She graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting; and holds a Juris Doctor degree from Fordham Law School.
