Andre Cuerington

Andre Cuerington, senior vice president and client advisor at Franklin Templeton, brings a wealth of expertise and leadership in asset management. In his current role, he continues to guide institutional investors on the strategic integration of public and private investments into their portfolios. Previously, Andre served as Managing Director in Makena Capital Management's Client Strategy Group, where he adeptly offered marketable and alternative investments.

Before his tenure at Makena, he was Senior Vice President at the TCW Group, where he fostered business growth and client engagement. His earlier experiences include significant roles at Waterfall Asset Management, where he was instrumental in the creation and success of the business development team, and PineBridge Investments and Western Asset Management, where he honed his skills in business development and client service for large institutional clients.

A U.S. Army veteran, Andre's disciplined approach and strategic insight are also backed by a solid academic foundation. He holds a B.S. in Operations Research from the United States Military Academy at West Point, an M.S. in Applied Mathematics from the Naval Postgraduate School, and an M.S. in Engineering-Economic Systems from Stanford University.
