Abigail Rotheroe joins Templeton Emerging Markets Investment Trust Board as Non-Executive Director

London, 17 October 2022: Templeton Emerging Markets Investment Trust (TEMIT¹) is delighted to announce that Abigail Rotheroe has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director, effective 1 November 2022.

With over two decades of investment experience, Rotheroe was most recently the Investment Director at Snowball Impact Management, a sustainable and impact-focused asset manager. Previously she managed retail and institutional Asia Pacific portfolios in Hong Kong and London for Schroders, HSBC Asset Management Hong Kong and Columbia Threadneedle Investments. She is also currently a non-executive Director of Baillie Gifford Shin Nippon PLC and HydrogenOne Capital Growth PLC and a member of WHEB Asset Management’s Advisory Committee. In addition, Rotheroe is passionate about improving equality and diversity and has worked with The Young Foundation and Woman's Trust in previous voluntary roles.
